“Old” names.

It’s none of my business what parents name their children. That is not the purpose of this post. It would be nice however, to see some names live on. I don’t know any two year olds names Ethel, Gertrude, or Hazel… but I do know my Grandmother has friends with those names, and they’re wicked cool ladies.

Those names rock. Period. How cool would it be to ask a little boy his name and have him reply “Elmer”. Or Herbert. Or Orville. You know the answer. It would be awesome. Just like your Grandpa was awesome. Old name = not lame. Don’t let it die.
